At last the kids are in bed, I have my jammies on and aimlessly surfing the web. Amazing how two months can pass and I have really nothing new to report. I feel like life is a cycle of poopy diapers, bottles and chocolate milk, which is the new fave.

It is getting nice around here and they opened the pool, hopefully this weekend it will get real hot and I can take the kids. I took them to the park the other day and there was a bunch a school kids there like 2nd and 3rd graders. And 2 of them were really into Lucas "helping" him go down the slide etc. Anyways. when they were ready to leave the one came up and said that is a smart kid, we asked him what 3 minus 1 is and he said 2! Josh and I got our little chuckles over that, since I am sure he just said a random number and happened to be right. He's smart but I am not a over zealous mother teaching the subtraction tables to my 2 year old. I am to busy trying to get permanant marker off of furniture.

Here is  a 7 month shot of Noah, the little porker is crawling everywhere.

I can't download anymore pictures, so that's it.

  • Sundays and Blogs

I love sunday afternoons, I mean who doesn't? Sunday is when I catch up on xanga, while Josh takes a nap with the boys. And I can putter aimlessly on the internet and waste time and not feel guilty. Josh's parents were here this weekend, so my house isn't absolutely destroyed, like it tends to get on Saturday.

We had a good time yesterday, just lazing around, doing nothing. Lucas thought it was just all right to have someone doting on him.

In other news, our church that we have been attending, had its last sunday today. Our pastor is moving to Texas, along with some of the other families. Its hard because we were just starting to feel like part of the church and know the people, but God's timing is perfect. So, we are reevaluating what God wants us to do, and were He wants us to go. We've had some pretty amazing stuff happen to us this week already, so we will see where it takes us! So keep us in your prayers.

I know I promised pictures, but I need to pick them up at Walmart yet. The joys of the dark ages.
    Have a good week everyone!

  • A Good Weekend

We had such a good weekend with Shannon and Rich and chillin's hanging out in Boone, NC in the mountains. The kids had fun in the indoor pool, makes excited for this summer in our pool. Lucas just jumps in, no worries. I was kinda sad last night when we had to pack up and head home. Its so fun now that Lucas actually gets it when you say were going to see stasia and gabriel. Anyways, now that I am on the computer, Noah's crying and Lucas wants a ba-ba (yes he still takes a bottle to bed) More later, hopefully with pictures.

    prayer and puke

I just looked down at my shirt and wondered graham crackers or snot, and didn't really care which one. Seems thats how the entire week was. Lucas started puking, then Noah, then Josh, I had my flu shot so I just got the runs. Anyways Josh and I were majorly cleaning today because our house just smells like stinky breath and poop. Wanna come over lunch? Since I made our lives sound so appealing. Hopefully next week will be a better week..with less medication and dr. visits....

We are studying about spiritual gifts in our womens bible study at church and I thought this little quote was so good

"The key to fruitfulness is not found in focusing on working more or working harder, but in walking more closely."

It just reminded me that I need to make my devotions and prayer time more of a priority instead of if I get it done. So thats what I have been thinking about amidst the puke and very little sleep that I have been getting.

Christmas, Car Rides & Crusty Boys

Ahh, nothing like coming home after a long trip and sleeping in your own bed, without two other people snuffling in the same room. After ten nights of Noah crying, waking Lucas up, Lucas talking, waking Noah up, our own house was bliss.

We did have a wonderful Christmas though, something magical about all that food and presents. We got to go to Richs for 5 days after Christmas, making it a total of 22 hours spent in a jam packed car with 2 car seats and coats. (big puffy winter coats on trips really get old) Actually the boys did really good, even Noah who usually does not appreciate his car seat to well.

    all the Miller cousins

Noah is ready to party and be blinded by the flash.

Lucas got this cool tool box and has been busily sawing and hammering ever since.

At the Strasburg train station, of course no one is looking but Stasia.

Can't you just smell the smell of kids in the morning. A good kind of stinky, if there is such a thing.

Now its the new year, God has done so much for us this past year, even though in a lot of ways it was probably my hardest year ever. The number seven represent completion, and number 8 means "New Beginnings". I am looking forward to what God has for us this year and can't wait to see it revealed to us. Happy New Year everyone!
